Matthew Story, the youngest of five siblings, was raised in western Colorado, where he built a foundation for success through active engagement in sports, family travels, and a profound passion for education.

The unwavering support and sacrifices of his parents, grandparents, and siblings played an invaluable role, fostering a deep appreciation for family bonds and loyalty. From an early age, Matthew embraced a work ethic that extended to all areas of life, including academics, relationships, and professional pursuits. Empathy, integrity, and grit serve as the driving forces behind his pursuit of success, principles he upholds daily.

Matthew’s educational journey encompassed a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College, followed by his Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, he demonstrated his commitment to legal advocacy by participating in moot court competitions and contributing to the ASU mock trial team. His exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral presentation, and legal brief writing earned him membership in the Order of Barristers honors society. Additionally, he acquired certificates in Law, Science, and Technology, as well as Trial Advocacy. Matthew was awarded the prestigious Willard H. Pedrick Scholar Award for academic achievement.

Before law school, Matthew worked as a paralegal at Gage Mathers. Under the guidance of Martin and Joe, he played a pivotal role in securing tens of millions of dollars in recoveries for clients.

He aims to contribute to the prestige and esteem associated with Gage Mathers. His motivation is continued growth through exceptional client service and devoted work.

Matthew’s law practice centers on cases involving motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, catastrophic injury, and representing clients who have suffered the loss of loved ones due to the wrongful conduct or negligence of others.
